Apartment Building Deployment

Introduction

This wiki page will cover all the items that needs be set up with a typical apartment building deployment of Private PSK.
This solution will be vendor independent and fully open source.
Lets looks at the various components which we will use with this solution.

Gateway router - We will use an OpenWrt based virtual machine with the MESHdesk add-on package so it can be centrally managed.
Managed VLAN capable Ethernet switch - The Private PSK deployment will form a VLAN based Personal Area Network (PAN) for each client thus we will need a VLAN aware network switch.
Access Points - We will use OpenWrt based Access Points with the MESHdesk add-on package so it can be centrally managed using RADIUSdesk.
RADIUSdesk - RADIUS server and Network Management System (NMS).
